Actually from the sound of it it looks like HSPA+ is going to beat the pants off of WiMax in terms of speed for now. In the future probably not.

In reality, WiMax seems to be less-than-robust for now.

What data do you have to support that WiMax is in your own words, "less than robust."

From the articles I've read WiMax hit its mark in upload between 1-3mbp and download 3-6mbs. I suspect you have an ulterior motive in your comment.

Oh, I don't know probably the current reviews saying the HTC EVO 4G makes a great 3G phone. 😲

And then there's my personal experience with Sprint's WiMax, speeds no better than 3G in low coverage areas and unable to penetrate some buildings. Therefore not as robust. 👀
