So if you own an HTC Hero, LG Ally, Motorola Devour, Droid Eris, Samsung Moment, T-Mobile MyTouch, you're SOL. And of course as we know from the Flash demos, Hulu doesn't work.

Even though all of those devices are able to decode H.264 perfectly.

On the plus side, I'm sure they'll all envy the ability to view those awesome animated "1 trick to a flat belly" ads. ๐Ÿคฃ

What? Your saying porn is the reason for things you have to fix in technical care?

Yep. I'm usually able to coax it out of the customers - what they were doing when the phone began having problems (internet related). Roughly half the time it involves something NSFW. ๐Ÿ™„

Hmm, what the heck does "NSFW" stand for?

So if it's not too complicated to explain, what do you do to fix their problems? And is this with Android smartphones, or some other device?

NSFW = Not Safe For Work

Often, and it really doesn't matter what the device is (Blackberry, Android or otherwise), it's a simple matter of clearing the corrupted files out of the browser cache. Some Android programs are a problem - if we're lucky we can just remove them, but it's often a Master Reset with the hardware buttons to fix because we can't get into the menus. With Blackberries, it's an app loader fix. Good times.

You think you can give me some examples of some Android apps that have caused problems? So I'll know.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, and I'm not in a position to look at the moment. Just keep in mind that if you wouldn't want your employer to see it downloaded on your work computer, don't put it on your phone. The apps that could get you into trouble with work are more likely to cause trouble on your phone.

Then again, someone downloaded a Sesame Street puzzle that destroyed their phone the other day, so who knows?

Well I do have one porn Android app called 3GM, so far it hasn't caused me any problems. Gosh I hope I don't get in trouble for naming that app on Phone Scoop ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
