this is just Verizon's way of trying to take wind out of the the sails of Sprint's EVO launch, just like they did with the Pre. Not that I would do diff. in Verizon's shoes, it makes sense from a business perspective. But i would be EXTREMELY surprised if Verizon could actually keep to the timelines they have been promising. They tend to over promise and under deliver..where as Sprint tends to do the opposite.

Verizon has an exlusive deal that Keebler Elvin ninjas are doing all this work without anyone knowing about it.

And if Sprint's network were even half as comprehensive as Verizon's, maybe your post would have some merit. Or hadn't you noticed Sprint's subscribers leaving in droves?

They aren't leaving because of the network or lack thereof.....it was a long legacy of poor customer care under Gary Forsee. The ship has turned a lot, but getting back a person scourned is going to be the most difficult thing. That's why they offer the best deals as far as price point.

Fair point. I still don't think their network is as comprehensive as Verizon's, however.

I would agree to a point. I know they have far more roaming agreements with regional carriers, thats why they can tout such an expansive network.

They're certainly not going to pay for pre-paid customers to roam on another carrier's towers. The purple is their native coverage. Before the Alltel buyout Verizon had a larger native coverage than any other carrier. Getting Alltel to fill in those holes was just unfair. Of course, Scott Ford DID approach Sprint about a merger THREE times.

Yeah what Sprint needs to do is just arbitrarily paint it's map all green so no one could tell what is roaming and what is native coverage. Then we'd have the same coverage as verizon.

Sarcasm aside, we both know Verizon's network is better. Or at least you will when you get around to educating yourself.

Oh and between our messages mine is the one without merit? lol ok. I was clearly stating an opinion, and didn't even slam Verizon in it (said id do the same in one part, comprehension is fun). Your message is completely off base however, I'd lay off the Verizon cool aid and learn to be more objective if I were you.

I'm as objective as the next guy--which is to say to the extent that I've been educated about a given subject.
