Umm, do you post on Phone Scoop while your dreaming?

Apple has a 5yr contract w/ATT.

true, but there is spectulation as to if it was a contract to just sell a specific Iphone or not Apple products in general. Personally I could careless Android phones have come up and are in some ways better then the Iphone. Iphone is like Xerox it's bigest draw is it's name.

Yep, I agree!!! A lot of people are Iphone zombies!

Speaking of Android, I could've sworn there is suppose suppose to be a Google conference TODAY, but yet there are no headlines on either Phone Scoop or Android Central.

The iPhone/Apple's brand name is solid because Apple doesn't half-ass their products.

IMO the closest thing to the iPhone in terms of quality is the Palm Pre. Android isn't anywhere close. Its sole purpose is to tide over VZW customers who don't want to jump ship until they eventually get it.

I have seen and used the Nexus one and even with a snapdragon processor it still has a low frame-rate when you are sliding through the menu system. Android has alot of flare but it is nowhere are stable as mobile OS X.

if the only android phone you've ever used is the nexus one, of course you'd think that; the nexus one was buggy as crap and the OS was nowhere near in a state that it needed to be to be stable. try the HTC Droid incredible, it's a thousand times better than the nexus one.

I own a Nexus One and the Droid Incredible is significantly worse. The Sense UI is glitchy, ugly, and poorly thought out and frankly unnecessary with the standard Android 2.0 UI.

I honestly don't buy that, why in the world would you own the nexus one? you clearly dislike android quite a bit, and have you actually ever used the incredible? and NEITHER phone is running the standard 2.0 ui.

For the same reason I own a Palm Pre. Development.

irrelevant; my original point still stands. Your whole argument against sense UI so far is based on opinion. every single review I've read about the incredible as well as personal experience says otherwise. HTC clearly put a lot of thought into their implementation of sense over e'clair.

Actually it's Apple half assing the Iphone that people most bitch about. Taking almost 4yrs to have things like multitasking and folders that Android ALREADY has. Add to tha MMS and copy/past, there you go, 4 things that Apple half assed.

Jayshmay; this one is on you, see, it isn't your fault that you have the argument that you are siding with, that's all a matter of opinion. What you are wrong in is getting into an argument with bluecoyote about *apple*. He is so far up the apple tree that el jobso himself could shoot his mom in front of him and he'd scorn their competitors.

Um actually, let's talk about that. Apple didn't release any of those features until they were correctly implemented.

Perfect example: Copy+Paste. correctly done and useful on the iPhone, worthless on Android.

Same thing with Multitasking- completely worthless on most Android handsets as most lack sufficient processing power- even my Nexus One lags. And speaking of half-assed, look no farther than the task manager situation.

Folders- really? Why does Android need folders, most handsets have a 256 MB app limit. That seems like a bigger issue.

And MMS? You mean of the billion free ways to share images on the iPhone that's even an issue? What about Android's lack of a decent media player? ...

Apple HAD a 5 year exclusivity with AT&T. That could have changed as the "cost of doing business." Now i'm not an Apple fanboy, but there is certainly a lot more "reasonable" speculation this year, then any other of an impending iPhone with Verizon. Until it happens however, all it is, is speculation. 😎

Rumors are not fact.

CDMA phone order (If true) could be for other countries (USA isn't the *ONLY* CDMA user).

Verizon Advertiser working on iPhone Adverts (if true), could be the advertiser working on adverts for non-usa cdma iPhones (if they exist). An advertising agency *THAT* big will have clients outside the USA.

Could, would, maybe, possibly... no facts. No statements. No press releases. No nothing.

Fact: AT&T and Apple signed a 5 year agreement. Backed up by news at the start, and recent court documents.

Fact: Verizon has been on the verge of getting an iPhone for 3 years now. So easy to pull up rumors and "ZOMG ITS COMINK!!!" posts...

What makes this guarenteed other than blatant fanboisism for two companies that ob...

Man, that iPhone it's getting kind of old now... same 'ol black brick, if VZW gets it by then, people might as well upgrade to a RZr or maybe by then VZW will have a Samsung Instinct too... hey that was a nice phone (in its day) hey I don't judge 🙄 if they would like to upgrade to this.
You all know what would be nice? an iPhone 4G with similar specs as the EVO (mobile hotspot, video chat, 4g speeds, 8+mp camera, etc...) and available for my carrier... of course!
Of theme for a sec... anyone knows/have info of a device w/codename HTC Mandrian???

Agree fully. Same old phone is same old phone.

Oo... it's *FINALLY* getting a better screen. Upgraded CPU/Memory/HD *yawn*

Only thing worth mention is, if protype is legit, front facing camera and minor change in design (For better signal?).

No clue... but I truely hope HTC shows some AT&T love because I'd love to get rid of my boring iPhone.
