Only have to put $50 down and you get a much better experience than any Best Buy can give.

I don't know about you, but the Radioshacks in my area look like they could go out of business any second. They carry nothing but the worst electronics on the planet. I chose Best Buy for my preorder. They made me put down a deposit of $50, but they gave me a $50 Best Buy gift card to turn back in on June 4th when I come back to pay for the remainder $. I spoke to the manager there to make sure I understood that there would be an Evo for me for SURE on June 4th before I put my deposit down. I went through this same thing with Best Buy when the Palm Pre came out. They had me on the waiting list for over a month. It was miserable.

You had a miserable experience, but you went through them again?

Radioshack does the same gift card "reserve" AND is giving away $20 in accessories. And yes, every preorder is getting theirs on release day.

Yea I chose Best Buy because they sold me on it. The Radioshack by me looks like no one has even been in there in 20 years...so I just didn't trust it. I know...I know...I set myself up for failure again by Best Buy, but the staff there was completely aware of the pre order and knew a lot about the phone. 🙂

No matter how much money i save at Radioshack or Best Buy because they are trying to sucker you into there store to buy more stuff. I will not buy a EVO phone from those two places. Sprint rep's know more about those phones then any of those people will ever know!! Radioshack is looking for there commish and dont care about you. And Best Buy will just send you out the door with the phone without any help! So go to the Sprint store and pass on all the rest. You will be much more happier in the long run. 😉

haha, and you think the workers at the sprint store DONT get commission? please, they make just as much if not more. Sprint retail workers are going to be the same workers as best buy and radioshack. Only difference is the customer who does the best research is going to get the best price. Sure sprint stores have the machine to transfer your numbers, but what kinda r-tard doesnt back up their own information anyway? I'll take the 200$ price and 20$ in free accessories at radioshack. Then laugh at all you people paying 350$ at a sprint store.

"Send you out the door without any help" is the line that got me.

So giving customers the option of transferring all of your contacts, setting up your email and blue tooth headset, downloading helpful free apps, walking you through step-by-step processes on the phone (like how to access the internet, download afore mentioned apps yourself and make phone calls) for free is "sending you out the door without any help?"

Oh, and also, Best Buy is the only retailer out of the three you mentioned that doesn't make commission on the sale. Therefore, it is the only place you can go to and get a real impartial opinion on which phone would be best suited for your needs. That doesn't mean you are not going to find great people working at a Sprint ...
