5Gig cap is for Mobile Broadband service ONLY at this time! The 3G svcs from your phone are unlimited, but from a data card would have a cap ... but I dont think I have EVER seen an account where a phone has reached 5Gigs, but very easy to do with a PC.

The big thing about this phone is that the WiFi addon pack for 29.99 gives unlimited 3G&4G svcs for the up to 8 devices you plan to connect unlike the broadband data card that is only unlimited in 4G areas & limited to 5gigs in 3G - and for half the price!

That is partly wrong the 5gb limit also applies if you are tethering or as in sprints terms using Phone as a Modem. They do have a cap on there even though you have unlimited data on your phone

Thats because tethering is treated just like a usb modem would be - I was strictly referring to the data svc ON the phone itself.

PDAnet alleviates all of this, for the tethering. Hopefully development is in the works for an android app specifically for the wifi capabilities. MESSAGE!!!!
