Windows Phone 7 and KIN Closer Cousins Than Thought
That's not a good thing- and to muchdrama: I was right
They're going to have to do better than this.

The Kin is typical Microsoft- great idea poorly executed. Actually, make that really poorly executed. Windows Phone 7 is supposed to be a clean break from this stigma.

You're right about what? That the Kin OS shares similarities to Win7 Mobile's OS?
Astonishing! You're a real sleuth.
Why don't we wait till Win7 Mobile arrives before we pass judgment? Not that I'm not expecting one of your famous 'This blows!' statements.

I think we know enough about WM7 to know it's gonna suck. Mcsft already said there will be no copy/paste, and if I'm not mistaken I think they also said no multitasking.
I'll reserve judgment till it arrives.
I'm an Android sympathizer, anyway.

Yep! I'm an Androider too! Moto Droid!
I dunno about Moto hardware, but Android is definitely to my liking.

Well the Droid seems to be very, very well made!!! Gorilla glass, metal around the screen, I think the Droid is very, very well made.
A friend of mine liked his a lot, too--until he traded up within 30 days to the Droid Incredible.

Yeah well as you may know about me, I'm anti all touch phones and prefer a *real*, *physical*, *slideout* keyboard.
I used to think the same way until I had ample time with the Nexus One. My next phone will be purely multi-touch.
Jayshmay said:
Ah, sometimes I try to use the onscreen keyboard.
It's just a question of taste. As long as the multi-touch holds up over the course of ownership, I'm sold.
Jayshmay said:
Multi-touch works just fine on my Droid, it's a really cool feature.
As long as I can get a touchscreen with the ergonomics of the Nexus One (for Verizon), I'll be happy. To date the Nexus has been my favorite phone. It just feels perfect in your hands.
Jayshmay said:
So how does the Incredible compare to the N1 for you?
I haven't had any real time with the Incredible. It looks like it's not quite as ergonomically friendly as the Nexus. Although I could be wrong. The Nexus is just friggin' perfect in the feel department.
Jayshmay said:
You seem to be very picky.
Ha!
Oh, I am. Very picky. And it starts in the ergonomic department.
I'm pretty much overall happy with my Droid.
Jayshmay said:
That's probably the last dept that's of any significance to me.

We all have our hang-ups. The Droid is a great phone.
Skeptics will need to wait and see.
