I think it is how long before MPCS swoops in and scoops up T-Mo.

They won't happen. They can't afford to buy T-Mobile.

T Mobile cant afford to buy MetroPcs. They cant even afford to build out their OWN 4g network without looking for help.

You guys are both wrong. By end of this year they will be merged with Leap (Cricket)

There is no reason for them to merge with Leap. They already have merged their networks so why would they want to. Once Leap goes BK they can buy them for pennies.

You guys are so wrong that it makes me angry. Deutch Telecom who owns T-Mobile has more money than Verizon USA. You forget that they are number 1 in Europe and it's a better economy over there. Do some dang research trolls

Maybe it is you that is making yourself angry for not knowing what is what??? I did look at their stats before I responded. Did you?

Vz 3.56 Billion $$ in cash
MPCS 1.1 Billion $$ in cash
DT 5.0 euro in cash for all of DT

Given that Leap has a market cap of 1.1 Billion MPCS could buy all the outstanding shares for Leap in cash. Not that they would. They would want to do stock swap. And not too out of the realm of things that MPCS could purchase T-mo. Especially is T-mo continues to struggle. I do not buy DT's comments of them committing to the US market. They want out. They just cannot say that as their investment would not be worth as much.

I think the DT investors are upset about TM-USA because of the original purchase price. DT spent nearly $51 billion to acquire VoiceStream, which at the time had 3 million customers.

Right now, Sprint Nextel has a market cap of 11.45 billion, Verizon Communications (which includes its stake of Verizon Wireless) is at 79.69 billion, and MetroPCS is at 2.52 billion with about 7 million customers.

So, that doesn't mean ...

Totally agree with you. And thats what I was saying is that they are going to use their funds towards more important challenges rather than on purchasing another company.

And just so you know 80dollarcarcharger, I have been on this forum for 7 years so your little troll comment is laughable

I'm not a troll, I speak the truth. I never said anything bad about any company or any particular brand. Look up the definition of a troll before you throw out hackneyed verbiage. You would think you would have learned to do so being on here for seven years, as you say. Any information I state can be presented with links that I have if you would like, as long as it's not personal opinion which I would definitely separate it because you have trouble understanding.

Obviously I must not understand because the conversation was about whether or not Tmobile USA purchasing Metro. I dont recall mentioning who has more money than who or who owns what company. The facts, as you like to say, are that Tmobile USA was behind in the 3g arena and they are not wanting that to happen in the 4g arena. So making a large purchase of another carrier would not be something that would make economic sense.

And sense I cant understand, remind me again when I called you a troll??? I believe your words were "I hate trolls" in response to the message I left.

Really vzwpro? Most carriers outsource network development and deployment. If they couldn't afford to do it themselves, explain to me how they can afford to have someone else do it? Does that make any sense at all?

Renting spectrum from Harbinger Capital, which they are negotiations of doing, is a heck of alot cheaper than deploying their own 4g network from scratch.

4G network?! They don't even have a semi-decent 3G network in place. Tmobile won't be buying MetroPCS. MetroPCS won't be buying Tmobile.

Let's live in reality, okay?
