Clearwire Outs New Samsung WiMAX Phone in Quarterly

The updates go from Google to the phone manufacturer to allow them to configure the update to their OS (such as the MotoBlur & HTC Sense) THEN to the service provider. Once the service provider has the update from the manufacturer, they have to add any carrier specific updates THEN it gets released. Each phone model has different upgrades needed before there can be a successful release, so comparing phones when referring to the updates is pointless. 2.1 is coming, be patient! You've lived this long without it and although it will be better than the cupcake version of android, what we have works for now! Relax, stressing & complaining wont make it come any faster!

Ya blah blah lol if it ever even comes be surprised if it happens this month. Just feels like they could release it and they haven't what the hell is takin so long yes I know they have to work out the bugs but this long? Voice to text would be nice on 2.1 and that's just one thing.

I have the Moto Cliq, which motorola is saying they will have the update by no later than the end of 2Q - but then I still have to wait so I can totally understand. I want the 2.1 as much as anyone, but fussing wont help! I can think of a LOT of great new features about 2.1 that I will use on a daily basis ... but right now its no more real to me than a geanie in a lamp. I'm excited about the release, and the anticipation is building ... but it'll come when it comes. I'd rather wait & have a solid product then have them rush it & screw things up!

Ya I feel ya just seems ridiculous that its taking so long esp with all the rumors but that's the internet I guess. I really just hope Sprint isnt purposely delaying as some say until there Evo launches they need to please every customer anyway they can right now & not everyone is gonna get that phone plus they would sell more of the others maybey too if they would update it already.
