Samsung move to put a phone on the Wi-Max network is a step in the right direction. Because I've heard of this talk about LTE, but where is it? Is LTE proposing their going to be superior than Wi-Max? Sorry to get off track, but again props for Samsung on getting on the Wi-Max bandwagon early. This could be what knocks the iphone on its butt. Lord knows the iphone is already slow due to to many users sucking up all the bandwidth.

I agree! Personally I don't care about wimax or LTE, I just care about speed. And wimax is first.

ATT could be faster, but they don't use all the spectrum that they own.

I can't wait for Wimax Release 2!!! Now that is going to be awesome!!!

I admit, I was pretty skeptical about Sprint's decision to go WiMAX in the beginning but now that I see the actual potential, I think it could really work for them. All they need now is better marketing.

Yeah, I hope the market the heck out of the Evo 4G. I want it to be proven that there is indeed an appetite for true wireless broadband. And it'll be interesting to see how wimax can handle heavy traffic.

I can't wait to use this phone in new York city, maybe Washington dc? Oh wait ... No signal.

I sure hope it has CDMA or gsm roaming, because there are a whole lot of markets you can't even visit

If you are referring to no 4G in those cities, there will be soon ... if you are simply referring to coverage, you need to check again!
