Sprint Has Yet to Schedule Android 2.1 Updates for Hero, Moment
EVERYONE RELAX!
If Sprint released the Update without fully testing it, and it had bugs, the same people would be complaing that Sprint rushed it and not there phone doesnt work, and demand credits for their phone now being broke.
Sit back, relax, the update will be here soon enough. Its just a phone update, not the end of the world!

Personally I don't understand why everyone gets worked up over this crap. Most everyone in these forums buy their handsets knowing darn well what it has or doesn't have at time of purchase.

By time sprint gets this out the hardware is going to be a year old! The moment and hero both suck.
2. its a software update that needs a lot of thing to be redone on the phone.. so it takes time.. even the droids update from 2-2.1 was moved back. this one requires more changes...
so the TS is correct people should really relax.. and im sorry but you sir are a nobody, compared to the thousands who think the hero is an excellent device ...my 2cents

....confirms what I had heard from a Technical Support Representative when I called late last week. I was given a date with a sense of confidence that it would be May 7th but I'm still having my doubts considering the timing of this News on the Home Page of Phone Scoop. Perhaps sometime between now and Memorial Day would be the time frame in question, who knows? Either way, it'll be here sooner than we think it would. 🤨
