Sad thing is Webos is amazing. I am carrying the Pre right now and I love it....quirky ass issues aside. But you are right....flop central. 😢

I've seen VZW and AT&T sell high end phones cheap before, everything from WM to BB's. I see no big deal here.

it does suck bc web os is a wonderfull operating sys. problems it faced, with the sprint release anyway, were mainly exchange email support esp when a cert was required. that and, at least on the sprint version, the hardware was/is TERRIBLE

The only time you see it for this low is if it is End of Life (after a 1-2 year run) and even then, most of them require a mail in rebate.

The Pre Plus is also INSANELY expensive retail compared to most other phones (600 is more than the incredible)

So not only is it cheap, but:
1: It doesn't have a MIR
2: It is offering basically a free MiFi access (40 a month value)
2: the device was launched only a few months ago, so it's not at the typical End of Life, meaning FLOP
