1. what is google's obsession with food. if they are hungary i can feed them.
2. and why cant i get android 2.1 update on my phone (moto cliq) or at least 1.6 and if not that can i atleast have some flash
...
Well, the version after Froyo is going to be Gingerbread... I think the "baked-in" joke would have worked better if it wasn't for the only version name you don't cook. 😉
...
I think Gingerbread is v2.3, but the biggest changes are being saved for v2.5, currently codenamed 'TheBarrel'. Google is expecting lots of celebrating when they roll out TheBarrel! 🤣
...
true that but its always desserts... does any other company do this?
...
Not necessarily foods, but Microsoft uses the names of places for some of its software in earlier development stages, and each new release of Ubuntu Linux is named after different animals.

2 things
1. Hungary is a country.
2. Cliq is getting 2.1. That's up to Moto, not El Goog. And none of the older chipsets are going to get Flash. G1, myTouch, Cliq and Cliq XT are sadly not going to get it.

Got a source for these statements, or at least a plausible rumor? Or you happen to be clairvoyant, or maybe from the future? 😳
...
I can't recall the exact source. It might have been Engadget, or even here. But yes, I am clairvoyant, I can use the Force, and you are just a worm. If I can find it, I will post the source here. I am firewalled out of most sites here though.
...
Firewalled?!!!? You may be @ work, but don't you have an Android smartphone?
...
Some of us are not only firewalled, but work in places where having a personal cellphone on the floor is a violation of information security policies, and would get you walked out the door by security.

I work for a cell phone carrier. I can use my phone. I just didn't want to spend 20 minutes staring at my phone to try and find that article. I know I saw it, and it stated that the phones with the 528Mhz CPU wouldn't support it. So no G1, myTouch, Cliq, or Cliq XT. Even though the Cliq XT has some very weak Flash support already, and the Hero technically falls into this category too. But no official Flash support from El Goog. Specifically, it stated that the Droid and up would be able to do it.

Two things: it's not up to me to google for a source for someone else's claims. I asked what his specific sources were. Also, bully for you, results are a bunch of blogs stating the things he said, without citing where they got their information. And none of them said older devices weren't getting Flash, just that newer ones were.
This just in, my sources say iPhone OS 5 coming to Motorola RAZR!!!
