They don't now. But it's coming. And fast. Or haven't you noticed the havoc being wreaked by unlimited iPhone plans on AT&T's network?
Nope. Verizon and Sprint both did twice as much data on their networks in 2009, the "well if the other guys had the iPhone they'd cry too" stuff is sunk. Especially as WiMAX and LTE roll out nationally you'll see this throttling / teired pricing form Verizon and AT&T while Sprint will go on its merry way thanks to all the spectrum they bought up.
