Another app to crash an otherwise horrible platform.
Honestly though, my brothers Storm2 can hardly load photos, how is it going to handle something like speech to text nativly?

It's amazing my storm 2 has never had a problem since day 1 yet im on the thing 24-7, and all my friends who have iphones ( about 11 of them) have had 2 or more replacements

You can probably predict Palm's demise because of it's weak backing and if you stretch it, maybe windows mobile with their confusing strategy at the moment, but..

I guess from a consumer standpoint, RIM was always "goodbye" but they never really cared about those customers until recently anyway.

The Motorola DROID can do this already in the 2.1 firmware update.
But it isnt perfect.
NUANCE doing this for the blackberry is a great thing. NUANCE does the voice recognition for DROID phones, and Blackberry phones.
They know what their doing.
The droids implementation of this feature is more like an experiment, If NUANCE does this right they add a very desirable feature to a very solid platform that is the blackberry.
I had a Storm 9530 before I had my moto droid and I can say from experience, BB is good stuff.
Come on RIM put the gloves on dip your knuckles in the crushed glass and kick apple and HTC and Motorola's collective a$$es.
