i have spoof apps on my phone and my friends and family get a kick out of them when i call. this is unjust and illegal, always taking fun stuff away from people. i bet bill collectors can still use these tactics and congress will over look it probably. its all a sham

not to mention spoof apps are an excellent way to call someone about a car on craigslist for instance and you just want information or an unknown number back without revealing it was you calling back. it's another protection of privacy, that's all.

And that would be all well and good, except the criminal few ruin it for the rest of us. I enjoy blowing thing up on the 4th of July, but it's illegal to set off anything more than a smoke bomb here in Ohio without permits and a firetruck on site. It doesn't mean I don't do it anyhow, but the people who aren't safe about it and lose their fingers have destroyed my annual patriotic fun for the rest. The majority of laws work this way - a handful of people are the reason behind any of these thing being put into place to "protect" the rest of us.

What pay phones? The FEDs are taking away & disservicing pay phones little by little. Their way of fighting crime, since pay phone are usually found in older, lower income neighborhoods with a history of crime & drugs. Aka drug deals thru pay phones. Cell phones are doing away with this as well.

There's a pay phone at the gas station closest to my house, and my neighborhood is not at all low income/high drug + crime rates.

Lol I feel U. I just moved to a nice neighborhood & we have 1 payphone but its by the train tracks. My old neighborhood had a payphone on every corner & whenever I visit I see more & more torn down. I feel like the govt is forcing us towards cellphones to keep a better eye on us. Idn, Im paranoid.
