I work in a phone store. I help people get their phone swapped out when it doesn't work right. I also upgrade people's phones. Both of these are situations where a memory card really comes in handy to save files. Ever had a phone with a damaged charging or data port? Sometimes a memory card is the only way to rescue files. Some people really get upset at the thought of losing their pictures, videos, etc. I for one would not want to go to a phone without memory card support. Proprietary usb cables can get lost, but memory card readers are universal. I like being able to move sounds and pics from one phone to another just by installing the card. Plus people really like being able to take their phone into walmart or some other place with photo ...
