no she doesn't download or want to use data/ringtones/wallpapers etc...she only uses it for calls and text. stop acting like sprint is some innocent company with clean hands.

Sprint is not going in and charging her for data she isn't using. Maybe she only wants to use it for text and talking, but there is something else going on. Usually it is improper use of picture mail or she has a widget of some sort active on the phone.

Well my phsycologist father in law, who I brought over to Verizon two years ago is getting charged for data, and there is no data he is using, and he cant wait to leave verizon. But he is to lazy to call into customer care and get his internet blocked to solve his issue. So he is going to switch.

Well as one who does the blocking negotiating overage discounts and correcting plans. I saw one time pic mail being charged after the new plans ie it was causing data charges. but we corrected it. No when someone has a data use charge and they have free picture mail, but inevitably when I check the unbilled usages I see picture mails at 11:20 12:50 4 pm but i see data use charges 1030 am 1 pm 5 pm 9 pm ... usually not allot. some of it is the newer devices getting updates when a person does not have a data plan, and others it is there kids goofing and still others usually low users are Grandparents not knowing how to deal with pic mail and or activating the browser accidentally.
