Isn't innovation. These are all jokes of accomplishments. "Oh look, we crammed Windows Phone onto a junky smartphone that's too slow to be functional!"

I think the crap HTC, Samsung, LG, and Motorola are turning out are of inexcusible quality. And you know what? I wasn't born thinking that- that's come from exhaustive use of units from these manufacturers.
I think Nokia was once an excellent phone manufacturer that has become insanely lazy.
I think RIM is the same, though their product is still better than Nokia's.
And there's a special place for HTC. They are hands down the worst manufacturer on the planet.

I agree that they all kind of suck, but Apple is pretty damned lazy as well. They don't do any research at all to see if their little plans are missing anything which is already common among products made years before theirs.
That works OK for them though, because most of their customers are just all giggly to be getting an Apple product, and will gladly make excuses on their behalf.

I have to disagree with you on this one. The Sense UI overlay is great. HTC has taken bland and overcomplicated operating systems and made them more easy and user friendly for your ordinary wireless customer.

Touch Flo 3D or the newer
Sense UI don't even think of them as WinMo phones.
HOPEFULLY they have Oper Min or Mobile or Skyfire loaded, cause pocket IE isn't a POS!!!

Sense and TouchFLO remind me of dumpy buildings with cheap stucco facades slapped on. At first it looks like a massive improvement, but in time the crappiness shows through.
HTC wasn't even the first manufacturer to do it - Palm made some modifications back with their Treo lineup, and of course in the smartphone realm of things the Palm world has long seen it.
And quite frankly, that solution honestly should never have been acceptable in the first place. That's why a comparatively anemic Blackberry was a far more powerful tool than the supposed swiss army knife HTC bricks.

Just so we're clear, are you saying that htc, who is primarily a hardware manufacture, that their software innovations dont count, because their innovative user interface was applied to an os that you dont like?

The way I look at this, the industry has two choices. You can buy an Apple product or a Non-Apple product. Essentially the same choice as in the computer market. Either Mac or PC.
Apple, even though they make a good product, is losing ground to competition with Android being the big push. Whether you like Android or hate it(and we all know your stand), history is repeating itself by Android taking hold of the phone market share. Just as Windows did with computers. Criticizing Android, is not going to change anything. It's here to stay and gaining popularity very rapidly.
HTC is currently the central hub to the Android OS. Apple knows this and is going to do anything in its power to slow the process of deploying their competition.
