I just have three important questions...
1. How much will this phone cost (MSRP and upgrade price)
2. How much will a 4G plan cost compared to current data plans?
3. Will it be to big? My current Hero is like PERFECT size.
These are deal breakers. I will not pay a laptops price for a cell phone.
...
The 4G plans will likely be the same as current data plans as it is a 3G/4G device and the majority of its users will still be on 3g.
...
1. 199.99 upgrade new customer or 499 outright I bet
2. same as 3g
3. Has a 4.3 in screen but is thinner so bigger but lighter.
...
Then keep your Hero. There will plenty of people lining up to get the Supersonic.
...
Only the people who stay up to date on the advancement of these phones. Joe Blow off the street probably won't be counting down the days until the SS is released.

I work for sprint and I believe there will be some sort of 4g data attachable required for 4g, likely $10. The reason I see this happening is because my employee aircard went from $29.99 a month for 3g to $49.99 when I upgraded to the 4g employee plan. $20 is what sprint pays to clear for 4g, even though they own a majority stake.
...
I disagree, at least at launch.
The supersonic will no doubt be 3g/4g as 4g is still relatively small.
I strongly doubt they would attempt to have two different price structures based on market.
And even if they did you likely will not be able to disable a 3G/4G phone from accessing 4G should the customer not want to buy an attachable (i.e run strictly on 3G).
Oh and if youre actually a Sprint employee and you're paying that much for your Aircard, you're getting ripped off 😉
