Multitasking is not the correct term
Saying WinPhone7 does not support multitasking is not correct. All modern smartphone OS's I know of multitask, however what Microsoft is not allowing are third party applications to run/execute in the background and that 3rd party applications are cached to the device memory when exited.
(This is also why you cannot rely on MicroSD cards!)
