This is why WinPhone7 will be better than Android for developers

I'll break it down like this

Lack of MicroSD:

1) Means that there's ONE volume when dealing with accessing files, and that it's large. This is why Android in its current form is so anemic- Applications MUST be run off of the internal memory (which is a paltry ~256MB) .

2) Means applications do not have to 'hunt' for files- they can be grouped together, improving application performance.

3) Allows for an application-specific file system, instead of a directory-based file system. Nerds may hate this but this is a far more efficient system on a phone.

4) Means you can actually have desktop-class applications, which aren't possible on Android.

Is a good thing I can see coming of this.

One of the strengths of the iPhone is that it's easy to develop for. You don't have a complicated mess of different phones, OS's, hard drive specs, screen sizes, etc etc etc. You have an iTouch, and iPhone (and soon a max-iPad.)

One of the biggest complaints about Android & WinMO that I know about is the wide range of platforms to support. Screen sizes, keyboards, OS versions, carrier versions, etc etc etc.

Something like this to simply things is not neccessarily a bad thing - IF done right.
