Silverlight? Oh awesome! The Flash-alternative nobody uses.

Will it have MSN TV integration? 🤣

What about PlaysForSure support? 🤣

Doesn't Netflix and Sunday Night Football stream in Silverlight? 🤨

I didn't realize it either, until a couple months ago. It turns out there are all kinds of silly issues with Flash which software manufacturers hate. Some didn't really surprise me (like the inclusion of wacky animation abilities resulting in excessive resource hogging), but I had previously been retarded by the blunt idea that "video = Flash", so I had an overall positive view.

HTML5 will have its own video streaming ability, which is basically the only good thing Flash contributes to the world.

yeah nobody uses Silverlight? Try Netflix, Sunday Night Football, and I believe a ton of NBC stuff is Silverlight as well (I think a lot of the Olympic streaming coverage was Silverlight).

So... Netflix on my phone? Sounds frickin awesome to me.

Netflix could just stream in H.264, which would work a LOT better.
