I've been reading rumors of a Playstation phone for a while. It just make sense, especially now that cellphones have the processing power. It also makes sense that SONY extend their Playstation brand to the mobile world because they already brought their Cybershot brand to the cellphone.

You can use skype, but of course it requires wi-fi and an annoying headset. The thing that sucks about this (if it turns out to be completely true), is that since it's supposed to come out this year (doubtful) it's going to launch before LTE is available which means that this device will be stuck on T-Mobile or AT&T service in the US. If they could hold off until LTE is launched, the device could be used on any network worldwide that supports LTE. Another thing, if this turns out to be true, I can see this going the way of the N-Gage.

(3.) Sony has experience with 2 solid CONSOLES (the PS3 has just recently been considered successful after several years on the market!)

(4.) The product has to be a cellphone first and foremost. I can't imagine people being able to get more than a couple hours out of it between making calls and playing demanding (for a phone) games.

(5.) Most adults have either no desire or time to play console games on their cellphone. Those adults would mos...
