Android has been out for a year (G1 cleared FCC in AUG 08, it launched. It was launched in October of 08
So that is not quite a year and a half. It's improved drastically in that time. If you think android is a cluster**** it's not for you. it's not a system that's made for a completely seamless user experience because it offers customization, and no system that offers that customization can be completely seamless (until you set it the way YOU want it). Android isn't for everyone, and it isn't trying to be (though OS overlays like Sense help). But this doesn't make the OS a cluster****.
You like Webos, great. I prefer android, also great. Both systems have their place, and I'm excited to see where both OS's will be in a year from now.
