Verizon Wireless Testing IMS for Voice Over LTE
WoW!!! 10 more years of CDMA!
Your just brainwashed by all those 'network' advertisements.
GSM works just fine.
Why WOULD a company rip out a technology that is working just fine and replace it with something else that does the same thing? Where the GSM operators are in a position to let 3G completely consume the legacy 2G network (theoretically), CDMA carriers have to look at the 4G network to expand and push the 2G network into obsolescence.
Frankly, 10 years is pretty damn fast to make a major migration like that. AT&T began their 3G rollout 5 years ago in 2005 and is nowhere CLOSE to refitting all 2G towers with 3G antennae nationwide.
The 700 MHz bandwidth quality and propagati...

WoW, 10 more years of CDMA. So in the year 2020/2021 Vzn will still be using a tech that isn't the world standard.
Correct me if I am wrong, I believe GSM is slightly older than CDMA. So according to your argument, everyone on GSM should migrate to the more recent tech of CDMA, and ATT should turn off all 2G-GSM towers and only leave on the 3G towers while 4G (LTE) is being built out. Man that Map Thing will really hurt then with no 2G-GSM/EDGE coverage to fill in those large gaps.
Lastly, Please tell me that you have either discarded all of your DVD from the last 10+ yrs since they are so passa' and old when compared to new and improved Blue Ray Discs since all new releases come in BR ...
