And do you really want Sprint to mess around with yet another network...just ask the Nextel folks how well that works

Nextel was the albatross. Sprint was foolish to purchasing a company on a dead end evolution path when Alltel was sitting out there begging to be acquired.

This is surprising to me. I thought TMo was doing well. I know a lot of people with TMo. I actually planned on porting to them because I've about had it with Verizon. I am having yet another issue with them. I can't send or receive pix! I know its not my phone because my mom is having issues with her phone too. I have a Blackberry 8330 and my moms phone has a Ev3. 🙄

This is why these rumors are damaging. T-Mobile IS doing well. They simply are not performing in an earth-shattering manner. Investors want money to be raining from the clouds (into their pockets). Since that is not the case, they are looking for ways to increase profits in some manner. No one is talking about T-Mobile going bankrupt. They are considering either spinning it off in an attempt to raise more funds to build out the network or finding a merger partner to make it more capable of competing with the two giant carriers.

You must work for the company considering you used the term "Earth Shattering" (T-Mobile's lame catch phrase for it's failed @Home product 🙄 ). It's also pretty apparent T-Mobile has brainwashed you to be an overly positive robot douche.
Since when did losing 70,000 net activations start being considered "Doing well"? That's T-Mobile 2009 Q3 sales numbers. Q4 numbers have yet to be released but you can bet you'll see similar loses.
Don't be too hard on yourself, only a select few employees can see through all the sunshine bulls**t T-Mobile spews on it's employees.

AT&T? Check!
Verizon? Check!

T-Mobile? Nope, never worked for them. Thanks for the name calling. Very mature.

As far as being hard on myself...as I am sure you don't care about my well being...I know exactly where to toss it.

I had no idea about the Earth Shattering catch phrase. You are a wealth of information.

Truer words have not been spoken...my commets were just poking fun. Nextel was at capacity pre-merger. the issues only came to light after and people then blamed Sprint. Anyway, this is off-topic.

Any company will fire you if you do something bad enough. Don't act like if you get "1" poor score you're gone. Firing someone from a call center is like a marathon unless you do something completely idiotic.

Things like this being leaked before they are true will affect a company's bottom line. Do you really want that?

There are strict regulations about what information a company can release and when. They can't tell employees prior to releasing information publicly, because that's considered inside information.

It's a rumor. Do you really want your company to apprise you of every potential move it considers? That would be chaos.
