No those are licensed microcells that use nanotechnology to convert picowaves on the macronet to microwaves your phone recognizes as Sprint coverage.

That is exactly whey the CTIA has devided now, after the number of years that some type of booster equipment has been out, to try to get them banned. The larger carriers all have some form of Pico-Cell coverage, and the CTIA is fighting to make sure that all the revenues from this type of a device are comming from their carriers. Unfortunately these pico-cell products will not work for everyone. Internet coverage with a high speed network is required. I side with Wilson!

nanotechnology? picowaves? macronet? 🤣

But yes, femtocells are different from boosters / amplifiers. 🙂

A femtocell is just a very small cell phone tower, that connects to the network via your wired broadband connection.

A booster relays radio signal from the air to the air.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I haven't LOL'd like that while reading a line of text in a long, LONG time.

Nanotechnology: Nanotechnology is a manufacturing process for creating parts smaller then 100 nanometers. Completely irrelevant when discussing spectrum.

Picowaves? This term does not exist...

Nice try though. GO BACK TO COLLEGE!
