My $300.00 ASUS EEE PC technically does more than an iPod Touch and costs the same. I'd be retarded to confuse the two- the ASUS really doesn't do anything well, whereas the iPod Touch does everything well.

That's your whole problem there.... if you have the money for the iPad, you should bought the Macbook Air instead of that Asus garbage.
The iPad is even WORSE than the cheapo netbooks out there for more $$$.
Again, if you have money to burn for a cool device...the Macbook Air is the way to go.

Uh think about this here...
1) A Macbook Air costs north of $1,5000.00 and is still a larger device that weighs 2x as much and is catering to an entirely different crowd. It also has half of the battery life. How on earth are you confusing the two?
2) How is the iPad worse than a cheapo netbook if it's faster, has better battery life, starts up quicker, and has a UI designed for the screen size? And if you price out a Netbook it costs about the same.
4) Let me guess, you're one of those people who walked around with a Creative Nomad for years after the iPod... 🙄

You are too funny!!! MacAir vs. Asus....yeah, when I bought my MacAir I had it right beside an Asus, struggling...I mean STRUGGLING to decide which one I wanted! LOL!!!!
