AT&T's network is fine. It's just inundated with iPhone users in a very concentrated area. Kind of like 500 people using one wifi hotspot. Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the hotspot, just too many people on it. Transplant all those folks on another network and you got the same problem...concentrated users with limited bandwidth. Try using your network at a football game or at fireworks...
