Apple and Microsoft joining forces?! Wow! Apple must REALLY be miffed at Google.

Actually, the two seem to be 'friendemies' more than anything. Internet Explorer was originally the default browser in OSX, and Microsoft did at one time own Apple stock. That's not to say Apple doesn't take jabs at Microsoft (you guys can't build a decent OS) and vice versa (macs are expensive).

I think they are starting to view Google the same way. Though honestly, Google makes better products than MS, for the most part.

Both seem to screw over their partners.

Well I think someone said this about America going to war shortly after 9/11... We may be racist, we may be arrogant but we will ban together to kick your a$$.

I think the same pretty much applies to this situation. M$...

Apple and MSFT work together far more then you may think, Apple always worked and patent shared with them. Sure they compete and dumb ass commercials on each other.
