I would prefer to see MetroPCS takeover Cricket if they're for sale. The only other carrier I would even would like to see buy them is USCC. I however don't want to see the big 4 (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile) buying any part of Cricket.
MetroPCS barely overlaps with Cricket & would be the best choice.
Cricket has some overlap with USCC in Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison Wisconsin; South Bend Indiana; St. Louis MO/IL; Witchita Kansas; Tulsa & Oklahoma City OK; Omaha, Lincoln, & Fremont NE; and maybe parts of Oregon. For most of these markets, I believe USCC would put the existing net...

Exactly. I don't like the idea of losing another carrier (poor Alltel) but if it happens keep the big guys out of it.

I'm with Verizon, but I want as much competition as possible. I was gonna consider getting wireless internet with Cricket, but holding off until I know what the future holds for them. I know someone who has Cricket for wireless internet, and he gets better reception with Cricket than with T-Mobile (his other service).
