Verizon Wireless Revamps Voice, Text and Data Plans
Sprint Plans?

Quite simply, they don't have to. To be honest, they didn't really have to do this one. Sprint lowered their prices and even did this new mobile to to any mobile plan because they need something to bring customers back to Sprint. Verizon isn't losing customers at all and is still gaining them in a very big way. Folks were willing to pay for Verizon's old prices. I think this will drag a few AT&T customers to Verizon if the plans are better...because up until now, Verizon and AT&T were the same price. Now, you can get Unlimited talk for $30 less.
And unlimited data on a feature phone for $15 more. $20 if you have a texting plan.
I still think there is more to the pricing than we know.. maybe this is phase one of a larger plan? as of now.. it's not anything to really claim to be ground breaking about.
What I really want is a data only plan for my Droid without needing a corporate liable line.. that would be awesome!
