Get the story straight
Why is it when you call Verizon they tell you that you can't do the pay per megabyte plan that it does not exsist, But on here they say sure only pay for what you use this is so stupid whats wrong with them?

Oh BTW, all but 2 of their phones are 3G so get ready to pay more for services not used!!!

They've got the right story. The data charges now follow the device. If you get a phone that doesn't receive 3G, data is not required, you have the option of $1.99/mb, $9.99/25mb($0.20/mb overage) and 29.99/unlimited. If the phone does receive 3G then there is a requirement for either the 25mb plan or the unlimited. Smartphones still requires unlimited.
