Verizon Wireless will open a Haiti Relief Connection Center in Miami to help the local Haitian-American community connect with family and friends back in Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake there. Twenty Motorola DROID smartphones and other technology will be available for free to make wireless voice calls, text messages, check Facebook and Twitter, and access other internet and news sources.
