It should say:

'That one spot in the corner of your yard where you get reception when you stand with one foot in the air and your arms straight out at odd angles and covered in tinfoil...Yeah, there! You can get unlimited everything!'

🤣

Thats not true.

As long as you are in a city you should be fine. My brother has them and it does wonders for him. He gets a drop call here and there like once a week but I mean its cheap but its worth it. Once they get good phones it will be really good for those who don't travel..

but... for how many people complain about how CDMA doesn't mesh well with traveling overseas.. it seems that EVERYONE must go to europe all the time. 🙄

Don't know much about METROPCS in particular, but generally with these city carriers, they seem to spend a lot making sure their service works in their coverage area.. just don't expect much outside of that.

Metro has quite a large footprint, even outside of "Metro" areas. Is it Verizon or Sprint coverage? No way...but still enough for the vast majority of cell users.

Exactly. I don't think it's really fair for folks to diss the regional carriers. To be quite honest, they are usually a better choice than the national carriers other than the fact that they don't offer a lot of the cooler phones. Think about it, how often do you really leave your metropolitan area? Not exactly a lot. But in the cases that you do, it can come in handy.

I think even some of the prepaid options are pretty sweet too. Just provide your own phone.

I use Metro for my business. For voice in South Florida their coverage is spectacular.

In mostly every market that Metro is in, they are the top selling wireless carrier. That would be impossible if coverage were as bad as some people (mostly from the competition) claim that it is.

My friend has it in NYC. It works in "Metro" areas hence the name MetroPCS. My only gripe with them is that they installed 1x in their newer markets. But oh well, what do you want for that price right?

Typical MetroPCS basher. Affordability and practicality. Are those words strange to your reptile sized brain? 🤣
