To all the lazy hold my hand, run behind me with a roll of toilet paper losers, there is something out there called a coverage map and a website. The store representative is there to answer questions but there is a website that answers all your MetroPCS bashing questions.
Give it a rest. 🙄
The word Metro is in the company name for a reason.
If that's not good enough, go back to your Mom's basement and eat your hotpockets. 🤣

I'm all about Metro PCS. I get a kick out all these "mommy basement nerds" who demand sooooo much from a phone when all they really need is a provider to help them pay child support and call unemployment. I mean, how many people really NEED super fast web access on a phone, if your job requires it I understand. But I know the majority of these people just want to be cool, and look cool with a phone that is way out of their league. I guess they figure if they can't get a woman thats out of their league they might as well have the phone. Not me, I rock Metro for $40 a month unlimited, inexpensive and practical, and still allows me to take "mommy basement nerds" dreamgirl out for martini's.

Are any of MetroPCS phones capable of using Google Maps?

Oh, the Samsung Code is the only handset from Metro that Google Maps can be downloaded to? Really the only phone from Metro that comes anyclose to me wanting is the Samsung Messenger.

Not sure if it's the only phone that works with Google Maps as I don't work for Metro. It's certainly 1 phone that does work the the application though.

I actually like MetroPCS myself. I dont use the service but I know people who do and find it to be affordable and practical.

At least, Metro doesn't treat it's customers like second class citizens like Sprint does with Virgin Mobile offering crappy handsets like Kyocera. At least Metro offers touchscreen phones and smartphones unlike Virgn. They even have a WinMo phone and a Blackberry in certain markets.

Sure the price for the handsets can be high but what do you want for an unsubsidized phone with no credit check, no contract, and unlimited usage of voice, text and web.

Practicality and affordability. You cannot get any more common sense than that.
MetroPCS cannot make it any more clear than an accurate breakdown of their plans and a highly accurate coverage map on their website.
To all those that just love the term "GhettoPCS",
one day you will realize not everyone sees the world through your rosey colored glasses.
MetroPCS and a few other pre-paid providers offer an alternative which no other post-paid biggie can.
