Maybe they sitting back and allowing GhettoPCS to rake in customers, then the volture will swoop down, and acquire them. Especially since MetroPCS has spectrum that T-Mobile wants/needs.

Different network types. I don't see T-Mobile trying to run GSM/CDMA...they can't even manage 1 network.

MetroPCS has a small network. Plus, they share the same spectrum. AWS, and PCS 1900. All T-Mobile has to do is run both networks together, then slowly get people off the CDMA network onto their GSM/HSPA network, and they are done.

Plus, this would be much easier than then buying Sprint and changing all of their antennas/cabinets/equipment.

I thought it was rather humourous myself. It's unrealistic and impractical.

Sprint should die on their own anyway. They don't deserve to be bailed out. DT can pick up Metro, Cricket, etc.

even then how would you aquire customers that aren't on contract? all they will do is leave and go to cricket.

these are the customers that owe everybody else money, well for the most part of them.

T-Mobile has the same platform as Metro does. It's called Flexpay aka Get More Plus. No contract and it works exactly like Metro's plans. You pay in advance for services. The only issue would be pricing so I guess maybe T-Mo will just grandfather those customers in
