Right you are "ignorance", all those first-responders, military folks, company executives, etc. that use Nextel are all from "Ala-Bama" as you put it.
Ever been in a medical facility where all of the personnel use Nextel? I have. It is one of the more efficient medical operations I've ever seen.
Ever counted the number of executives in airports with Nextel Blackberries? I have, and at least until a couple of years ago, the majority were on Nextel. Not now, but a few years ago that was absolutely the case.
Are you implying that Mayor Guiliani, who had ONLY his Nextel Direct Connect to run the show for the first few days after the 9-11 attacks destroyed the WTC, is either from "Ala-Bama", or somehow grouped in with residents of that ...

Wow you have opened my eyes....I thought the only people who used these phones had Confederate flags in the back of their pick up trucks 😕 . Buddy I have sold Nextel for longer then you can imagine, believe me the executives, doctors and alike are not buying these phones anymore. I cannot remember the last time I had a corp exec ask me about the mil. spec phone that he could use in the blowing rain. Out of construction and the military, I hate to say Nextel has had its day. Maybe when the Opus One comes out I will change my mind, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm pretty sure that just because you sold Nextel for awhile doesn't automatically make you an all-knowing expert. There are plenty of salespeople in this world who are, how shall I say it, intellectually challenged, i.e. they never do get it. They might think they do, but they're generally just fooing themselves and no one else.
