This is the Moto handset that ATT described as having an unusual design.

This phone is of no interest to md though. I'm going to wait and see what kind of specs HTC puts into an Android phone for ATT.

If anybody has any idea what HTC is cooking up for ATT, please share.

Yes, it's definitely coming to AT&T. For some silly reason, Moto won't say that, but it made a very prominent appearance in the AT&T presentation, and they gave a Backflip to all AT&T developers in attendance that wanted one.

Hey Rich, any idea as to which Android HTC device is headed to ATT? That's what I'm really curious about. Not all that interested in this Moto one and not really the Dell one.

I've heard of the HTC Lancaster that was "cancelled" by AT&T last quarter. It could be that. Here is some info on it:

Hmm, well with the exception of the measly 2.8 inch screen it seems like an oh right device, I want something with a 3.5/3.7in screen.

I currently own a Nokia N95 that has a 2.6in screen.

I'm really looking forward to Android, it seems like a fun and innovative platform.

Not sure. Probably one that hasn't been announced yet.

So what do you think about the HD2's screen? Too big?

Personally I think 3.7in is the limit for a cell phone screen.

The screen itself can never be too big. 😉 The phone, however, can easily be too big, and naturally that limits display size.

The HD2 pushes the envelope. It's a massive display, but the border around it is thin enough, and the phone itself is thin enough, that it does (just barely) fit into most pockets. Still, many people will find the HD2 too large.

The Google Nexus One is probably about as large a phone as most people will be comfortable carrying.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have a feeling an Android smartphone might be my next handset. I think that live wallpaper feature on Android 2.1 is so, so cool!!!!!!!
