I have really liked the Android phones I've played with at Verizon and Cellular South, but I'm an AT&T customer. As much as I like Apple (I own 3 different iPods) and as impressive as the iPhone is, I wanted something different than my wife. Now I will have a choice.

I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! I won't give up my AT&T because it does give the best coverage where I live, it is 3G, I haven't had a dropped call in more than 8 months at least, it works in my basement, and in the basement of a rental property. Something that other company's don't do. I love Rollover. I may finally, after about 7 years, give up a Blackberry.

Oldphone, we are on the same page! While I've had more dropped calls than you, a switch to another carrier is not advantageous to me. I looked at going to VZ, but where I live, VZ was late to the game as my local market was dominated by AT&T and a smaller regional carrier (Cellular South). I know few people who are on VZ, so I would lose the free mobile-to-mobile calls that I currently have with AT&T. Further, a couple of the people that I do know that are on VZ said that they couldn't wait to switch carriers when their contracts were up because they thought that VZ sucked. I was surprised at this because I had just read the December 2009 edition of Consumer Reports that rated Verizon tops in cell service and AT&T at the bottom.
