Why would Google spend all that time making a phone like this, and than launch it on one of the worst network's know too the wireless industry??? AT&T got lucky with the IPHONE and that was a mistake on Apple's part. But come on what the heck. Some one explain!!
...
I wish I had the real answer but I am guessing that they plan to launch this all over Europe and T-Mobile actually has a network closest to the Europeans'.
I want to know why Sprint is not in the line-up if Verizon is getting the phone.
...
I understand your theory, but Tmobile still sucks!!!!!

Sprint might not've agreed to the google store concept? From what I hear, they REALLY hate giving out anything but a 2 year contract.

Tmobile was willing to work with them to make the Google store, ATT wasn't, and a CDMA "unlocked" phone doesn't have as much appeal, so that means Verizon couldn't be first.
I think it makes perfect sense, and I'm glad that people will see it as a snub to ATT.
Or just get the Nexus One, and activate it on ATT. Yeah, you won't have 3g, but I know at least around here.. you don't have to worry about it.

Here's an explanation: T-Mo supported the 1st 2 Android phones in the U.S. And T-Mo is far from the worst network. If it doesn't work for you, fine. That's why they sell an unlocked phone. You won't get 3G, so I'm sure you will cry about that too. I, frankly, will be enjoying T-Mo's 7.2 MBps 3G in my area. Oh, and it costs half as much as AT&T. But seriously, stop whining.

Tmobile is not the worst network. 7.2mbps on 3G with 21mbps coming by summer. Just because it doesn't work for you in your area doesn't mean it sucks. Every carrier has its problem areas. Tmobile has the best customer service and my Cliq on 3G is by far faster than the iphone.

Just because a Lamborghini can't go off roading doesn't make it a bad car.. 😲
To each their own right?

RockTripod You made a statment that I'm whining?? I stopped in a Tmobile store today to speak to them about there coverage. One of the sale's rep's told me that depending where you are going to use it, we were instructed to go over the map in detail with all our customers, and if there is no coverage in those area's Tmobile rep's are instructed not to sell those people a phone. They know there coverage sucks and there tired of taking phone's back. I would love to switch to Tmobile and save some money. Don't be stupid. 🤣
