Google Officially Intros the Nexus One
not interested! with that capacitive screen!
capacitive works ONLY on finger when resistive works on finger, AND nail, AND stylus! why would you want to limit your option for input?
Most everything is very finger friendly, and I have pretty big hands.
As you said, choice is good. But if a phone tried being everything to anybody, it will always feel half done to everyone.

It's a patent for a resistive screen laid over-top of a capacitive screen. It retains the responsiveness of capacitive technology with the stylus functionality of a resistive screens.
As for WinMo, take a closer look at v6.5. WinMo is clearly posturing for a capacitive environment of manufacturing. Your resistive days may be numbered- far more people prefer capacitive displays.
i using wm6.5, it works PERFECTLY FINE on resistive screen. why move to capacitive gargabe that limit your choice!, work only with finger and must press "power" to wakeup phone.
Resistive is really only worthwhile for a stylus. So if you want to use a stylus, get a resistive touchscreen. That way, you and the other 12 people in the U.S. can stop complaining about capacitive screens.
Stop you the "choice" argument, because no one is clamoring for resistive screens but you.
