Where's the map????
See... I want them to do this. Because if ATT is claiming that it covers "all that it needs to" with 3g, Tmobile should deff make a:
"So you're defending att? did you know that where you get 3g with them, you get the same 3g with us for half the price?"
or something...

The problem with T-Mobile is that their 3G map is far less than AT&T's. For AT&T to do those upgrades, despite Verizon's commercials say, it would take a great deal of time. For T-Mobile, it doesn't take much since their 3G service isn't everywhere...map...here...

they cover 200million people with their 3g, that's significant coverage, and they are in pretty much every major city. If, as ATT seems to claim, the only customers that "need" 3g are those that live in the cities (and those of use who live in the boonies with "only" a few hundred thousand potential customers are "fine" with 2g) then Tmobile's map really ain't all that bad.

Not where I live. On Long Island, NY you cannot carry on a continuous conversation on a tmobile phone while driving from Manhattan to Montauk.
you will drop the call at least 10 times during the trip.
Why? The towers are spaced too far apart for it to be true cell coverage.
Until their cell sites overlap as much as the "big boys", it is all just marketechture"
