Over seas prepaid is the norm, hardly anyone signs a contract. I saw on the new just the other night it was on the rise in America and 40 million users are already on prepay. I can be a much better deal. For one thing there are a lot of options now that offer unlimited talk, text, and web for a flat $50 a month and you do not have to pay tax on a prepaid, in other words a $50 plane will cost you $50 not one penny more. I know there will be a few asshole on here who will say stuff like you will have to pay full price for your phone, and I say so what? Just look on eBay, you can get a phone on there for cheap. It is pre-paid unlimited minutes and messaging...why would you be calling customer service? Is customer service worth $80 extra per month? Really?

If you have trouble activating your Page Plus device, or if the number is not routing correctly, or any other reason you have to call to get something fixed...

...also, they stopped supporting the activation of non-Page Plus devices, so if you use a Verizon phone instead, you are on your own with activating the device.

I can say that Verizon phones do activate on Page Plus over the air, and voice and messaging do work. Downloads and Web do not, however, as they are programmed to go to Verizon's app store and mobile web server. Only Smartphones, which do not go through a specific proxy to get online, will work with the web on Page Plus if they are Verizon phones.

We have local agents here in my city that I have referred customers to. No one has had a problem and they are using existing Verizon phones. Your nebulous customer service "issues" just don't jibe with the real world for me. *Shrug*
