I like the fact they got rid of that annoying trackball...

don't like the fact that when I first saw it I thought about it being a palm model before RIM... i dunno am i alone on that

definitely cool that sprint is bringing the smart phones and higher end devices

Now see, I like the trackball. When that optic pad wigs out, you'll wish you had a physical implement. I feel the same about physical keypads, too.

sorry to tell you muchdrama but the day of the physical keys are done. everybody is moving to the touch screen and touch pads. its just the direction the industry is heading.

Which is unfortunate, because full keyboards are so much more reliable. I think the HTC Hero with its touchscreen and trackball combined with the Samsung Moment's keyboard would be one of the best phones ever.

Those days are far ahead of us, my friend. There will be a need for physical buttons and keypads for some time to come. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I agree with ells2187, in a few years all phones are going to be touchscreen, its better and keybads and buttons will eventually break or wear out. Thats just my experience tho, i had the blackberry curve and the pearl and the trackballs on both of them broke and the keybad on my curve stopped working only about 11 months after having it and im not too rough on my phone, i am acctually very careful, i hate scratches haha, now my i phone on the other hand i have i had my 3G iphone for about a year now and i have not ever had a problem, one time it froze and i rebooted it and it never happened since. but thank goodness that they got rid of that trackball

I hope not. The Storm was a horrible phone!
