Thank Big Red for AT&T expanding their 3G footprint. It wasn't till the map war started that AT&T started expanding more and making bigger plans to enhance their network. Verizon in a way helped AT&T with "intervention" 🤣

I don't believe Verizon had anything to do with this one. Verizon couldn't keep any part of Unicel in Vermont, due to the state legislators asked the FCC to make Verizon divest all of Unicel Vermont, just so the Unicel network went to a GSM carrier, and not to a CDMA carrier. Verizon would have been able to keep the southern portion of Unicel's network had Vermont legislators not intervened.

As for AT&T being able to add 3G to the former Unicel network; they're launching 3G much more in the 850 band than Verizon is, and that's making it easier for them to do so. Verizon had nothing to do with it.

Exactly. Verizon has every bit to do with it actually. Especially after those damaging commercials. It's called competition.

But AT&T has nothing to worry about though. Long as they have their precious iPhone exclusively, the suckers will keep coming to them and they will put up with their crappy service. Why? Plain and simple. Cause they think the iPhone is the best cell phone ever created.

Who's your Daddy iPhone users? AT&T is. Unless you were smart enough to jailbreak and unlock and go to T-Mo. But even then you'd have to deal with slow ass EDGE service. ☹️ Looks like AT&T is still your Daddy lol
