Apparently The phone is able to be used on GSM only because T-Mobile agreed to advertise for it. Sprint and Verizon had the chance but both declined to advertise for an unlocked phone.

Can you please tell me where you got your info on Sprint and Verizon declining "unlocked phones". Unlocked phones is usually a term for GDM phones. Sprint and Verizon and CDMA. Thanks.

I Google'd, Bing'd, and Cuil'd and no SOLID info. If you have some SOLID info, please share. It's so easy to hear and find RUMORS.
