I really agree with paulc91316 on his predictions. When google does that they will be marketable to the public and techies like us who really anyalze how our phones work and want updates a few weeks after using our phones because we are bord.
I have worked with the public for over a year with android and to be honest with you. At this point 80 percent of android owners DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2.0. Only people like us care about that at the moment. Once these customers get educated on their devices, and the general public is used to phones with this kind of power, then this will be a significant problem with updates.
