Do you honestly believe conservatives are the only ones to blame for the Patriot Act? Your hero Obama pledged over and over during his campaign to end the Patriot Act when he got into office. Your right about talk not equaling action. Talk prevents and CONTROLS action or in certain cases encourages action. With the governments ability to control information on TV and soon on the internet, we will be no better off than Communist China...Except at least there, people are smart enough to KNOW that the government is controlling the media!
Predictions? Who said I was using predictions? I'll assume your referring to climate control agents being able to come into your house without permission to inspect your "climate impact" and being able to fine you if it's to high. Well they've already tried it once in 07':

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against protecting our planet but even if man-made Global Warming is real, (which the highest ranking global warming scientists were caught saying it wasn't in the leaked emails) how does taxing us for it and forcing factories to buy "Carbon Credits" from AL Gore going to solve global warming?
It won't. But that's not the point of the bills. They are to take more money away from hard working people and further erode away our US industrial industry. Just so Gore and his cronies can be billionaires.
